I'm [a] member of bivouac, ACC-Vancouver and UBC, but I just bought your Scrambles book yesterday and I want to congratulate you on an excellent job. I didn't get any work done yesterday with your book in hand, always a good indication! Now I have to try to get up most of those routes. Anyway, so many things in the book are excellent and I wanted to let you know what I thought about it.
Nice work on the book. Thanks so much for putting it together. It's given me many great ideas for the summer.
[The book] is awesome! Thanks so much for the immense amount of work that you put into it, it is a fantastic book, and provides excellent information. I already had a list of scrambles I wanted to do, some of which are covered in your book (good, now I've got better info for the routes!), and now I've got a whole bunch of new ones on the list!
I just wanted to let you know that I think the book is totally excellent, and I can't wait to get out and use it on some of these routes. It's going to be a great summer!
I think you've done a wicked job at covering some awesome areas.
We're just flipping through your South West BC Scrambles book here at [MEC], nice work eh! Very impressive.
I just had a pleasure to browse through your book borrowed from my friend. It seems to be something I really need as this type of mountain travel and areas described are my primary interest, since I'm getting older and too lazy to carry full size climbing rack high up in the mountains. It is a well done, long time needed book.
I looked through [the book] front to end last night - looks great.
This is fantastic! This is a must! I'm ready to go and scramble!
It looks awesome, very nice layout. Can't wait to get out and try some of the scrambles.
Book looks awesome, matt.
Nice book. Very well done, I'm impressed.
All right! I got a copy. Looks great! It'll keep me busy for a while. Thanks Matt.
Kudos to you on such a great book! You're timing in the release of it could not have been better for the beginner scrambler like me. I'm very impressed with the outlay and easy reading style.
